2009 January 14 Prayer and FastingI know I know its been a while I have not forgotten you all ... If you were with us at the potluck after Sunday service not only did you enjoy some amazing food but also you heard some exciting testimonies. Our first week of prayer and fasting for 2009 drew to a close and a number of people shared how God had made the week special. Young people fasting from sugar, meat, or video games, families who went through the week together and were able to encourage each other. Others shared how God had reminded them of the need to be thankful and to be happy in Him. And I continue to hear stories… one person said to me how going without selected things powerfully reminded them of some who never have some of those things at all! I feel sure there are many more testimonies, how about you, what impact did the week have on you?
