2009 January 27 Disappointed but...Yes I was disappointed that we scheduled last Sunday as a baptism Sunday and nobody asked to be baptized. However, I had to remind myself that baptism is the outward sign of something God does in each of our lives when we accept Him. In other words God does it, I don’t and you don’t! And since He is God His timing is perfect. So where do we fit in? Jesus simply asks us to live lives that prompt people’s curiosity and to look for the chances God gives us to share of the difference Jesus makes to us. So take a few moments and ask yourself what do my friends and acquaintances know about me? How did they find those things out about me? Do they know that Jesus is the most important person in my life? If not, why not?
