2009 March 11 He's hereToday I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Most of you know that both of my boys were adopted and although I often forget that fact, the one occasion that reminds me of that is the birth of a baby. You see I was not able to be present when my sons entered the world or hold them in those first precious hours of their lives. Today I got to visit Josh and Liz and their precious little boy Tucker less than 12 hours after he was born.( More pictures) When I arrived Liz said, "Would you like to hold him?" Josh and Liz, you will never know what a gift you gave me by allowing me to hold Tucker for a few minutes. It wasn’t till I was walking to the car park that the immenseness of the privilege you gave me hit me and I can never thank you enough. After 36 hours labor I have to say Liz looked wonderful and Josh does not stop smiling and I can’t say I blame him.
