Yes I was disappointed that we scheduled last Sunday as a baptism Sunday and nobody asked to be baptized. Ever since I began to prepare last weeks sermon, God has reminded me repeatedly how easy it is for me to forget that God is God. The number of times He repeats it in the OT (more than 170!) should be a clue! If God’s people forgot so easily with the pillars to remind them then the likelihood of my doing any better is small .
