New Life Christian Fellowship was formed from the joining of two longtime Pacifica churches: Grace Bible Fellowship (GBF) and Vista Del Mar Baptist Church (VDM).

In the spring of 2007, a committee of 7 members was formed…3 from each congregation plus Pastor Jonathan Markham, who was senior pastor of GBF and interim pastor of VDM. Their mission? To determine if it was the will of God for a new church to be born from the joining of GBF and VDM. At the first meeting of this group in March, there was unanimous consent to such a joining of the two churches, and the process began in earnest to outline the path and procedure necessary to form this new church.

On Sunday, September 16, 2007, New Life Christian Fellowship began its New Life as a new community of faith charged with ministering to and serving the community of Pacifica, the Coastside, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond…
